Grappling without the Gi
No-Gi Jiu-Jitsu uses rashguard and shorts instead of the traditional kimono. Without fabric grips, training emphasizes body control, wrestling, transitions, and submission grappling. It is a way to develop your grappling whether you also train in the Gi or prefer training without it.
Find the right session for your experience
Our schedule includes beginner No-Gi classes on Tuesday and Thursday and all-levels No-Gi on Monday and Wednesday. Each class lasts 60 minutes. New students can start with the beginner sessions, while the all-levels classes give students with different backgrounds a shared place to develop their skills.
Preparing for No-Gi training
Wear a rashguard and training shorts without zippers or pockets. Before your first visit, request a free trial and let us know whether you have trained before. If you are coming from Gi Jiu-Jitsu, wrestling, or another martial art, tell the coach so we can help you choose a suitable starting session.
